As we head towards yet another bank holiday weekend, here at Mr & Mrs Stitch HQ, we are getting our wardrobes prepared for longer summer nights and warmer sunny days. What better accessories to your bank holiday out fit, than a cold freshly shaken cocktail?

Seeing something on the internet and then have to check its not April 1st, is very interesting indeed. When Mr Stitch came across this very unusual recipe for a twist on the classic espresso martini, nothing would do until he tried it out for himself. Thank you to TikTok drinks specialist @holycityhandcraft , for teaching us how to make an Espresso Martini with Parmesan Cheese

Ok ok… Its time to finally make this monstrosity… the PARMESAN(?!) Espresso Martini. This idea was initially suggested by the talented @thebittergringo and with @highproofpreacher’s stamp of approval, I knew I had to try it… and I’m not gonna lie y’all, this was astonishingly delicious. I typically put a pinch of salt in my espresso martinis anyway but that savory, cheesy, funky salinity you get from parmesan is just unmatched and worked perfectly in this cocktail. I would not be surprised to see this pop up at more bars soon, but y’all already know that would be a $24 cocktail 😂 TL;DR: You need to make this, its so good. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• PARMESAN ESPRESSO MARTINI •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• * 2 oz Vodka * ½ oz Coffee Liqueur * ½ oz Simple Syrup * 1 oz Espresso * Grated Parmesan (Garnish) •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• Instructions: Combine the all of the ingredients except garnishes in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake, double strain into a chilled coupe. Grate fresh parmesan over top.
