This Year's Sustainable Sale

With it being a new year, it may be time for a new take on fashion. There has been a great shift in the fashion world with brands working harder to construct their clothing with less impact on the environment, and here at Mr & Mrs Stitch we are proud to stock a lot of brands doing just that. Edwin

Edwin uses a lot of eco-friendly materials, and at least 50% of the materials used in production are organic and certified by the GOTS. Edwin also used a lot of renewable energy when crafting their clothing, as well as low impact and non-toxic dyes. Shop Edwin Sale Here


Colorful Standard

Colourful Standard hopes to change the overconsumption problem in the fashion industry in the most colourful way they can. Being first and foremost an environmentally conscious brand, Colourful Standard have looked to perfecting the basics to ensure less ends up in landfill. Colorful Standard use 100% organic cotton in their clothing which minimises the use of pesticides and has lowered greenhouse gas emissions by up to 94%. Wax London

Wax London work hard to source environmentally friendly materials, working with organic cotton that has been certified by the Organic Cotton Standard (OCS) and the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). They also use recycled materials in their production, including viscose, which has been seen to have massive detriment to the environment when produced inconsiderately. Shop Wax London Sale Here


Ba&sh

Ba&sh works on creating room for diversity and inclusion in their workforce. Along with a plan to reduce their carbon footprint, they have taken a good look at their materials and have increased their use of certified materials, including sustainable viscose and organic cotton. They have also reduced plastic in their packaging and have a target of zero virgin plastic for 2023. Shop Bash Sale Here


MMX

MMX has been very thorough about their use of sustainable materials and their attempt to be fully transparent in their supply chain. MMX use as much organic material as possible, while using 40% less water in their manufacturing. MMX are also 100% climate neutral, as they offset any carbon and greenhouse gases created during their manufacturing process.
