Designed and made in The Netherlands, Secrid wallets are small on the outside but surprisingly big on the inside. 

As electronic payment methods began to emerge in the 1990s and cash seemed likely to soon be relegated to a thing of the past, Rene and Marianne of the Netherlands decided to create a card wallet with a minimalist design. In 1997 the Secrid Bodycard was born however the Secrid project remained a side project to the pair’s main jobs as designers. It was when the financial crisis hit in 2008 and work opportunities for the designers reduced that they shifted their focus solely on Secrid. Combining their knowledge and skills from their experience in fashion and industrial design they went on to design and produce a range of miniwallets, cardprotectors and accessories. Their designs have won numerous awards including a Red Dot design Award for their cardprotector and a European aluminium award for their miniwallet.
