Universal Works practical and perfect for summer

Universal works was first founded by David keyte in 2009 working out of his kitchen table. He had a goal to create the most honest clothing through fit and good design, however never over designing. He was inspired to start the brand by growing up in a working-class family that loved to dress well. With over thirty years of experience in the fashion industry later he decided to take the plunge into his own brand. The brand emulates the goals of David with mixing understanding of heritage underpinned by contemporary needs and aesthetic.

Universal works "From the soul" collection

Universal Works spring summer collection emphasis the passion of the brands focusses on well-designed garments fittingly called “From the soul”. The collection crafts with tactile range of earthy and soulful fabrics. From waffles, towelings, slub cottons and seersuckers. It also includes meditative palette of natural colours such as light cumin, sand, lilac and light blue. However, the collection doesn’t stop there in terms of colour with a special focus on military inspired hues of olive and navy. All the garments’ shine comes from a deeper place of inspiration or cultural references points.

One of the options is the Windcheater sun print jacket. The jacket is a take on a classic zip front jacket featuring a collared neckline and two welt pockets. The allure of the jacket is the exclusive sun print that features two types of contrasting dyed navy colouration

Road Winston Ripstop shirt

Another option is the vibrant Road Winstop ripstop shirt. The shirt features a casual camp collar and short sleeves. The shirt features a blue floral pattern and is crafted with a hand loomed artisan fabric printed with real indigo.

Military twill chino

The next option is the Military twill chino. These trousers feature a loose fit design for a less restrictive feel, button fly and 4 pockets two located at the rear and two on the side. The trouser is in a beautiful subtle sand colour and is the perfect hybrid of casual but sophisticated clothing.
