At Mr & Mrs Stitch, we believe that coats, a typically functional piece of your outfit, should also be fashionable, and with this in mind, we have carefully selected our outerwear brands Both Parajumpers and Colmar provide ultra-lightweight coat options, sleek in design, with a goose down interior, to ensure that whatever look you are going for is matched with a comfortable and cosy outer layer. We have an offering of sheen and matte finishes within our range for both brands. These could be matched with a soft, lightweight scarf from Oliver Spencer, for a smart casual occasion. Scotch & Soda offer a slightly heavier duty parka style coat, which has become a trademark release for the brand each season. These can be perfectly layered with a piece of knitwear from Kent & Curwen, for multi-purpose day or night out in your favourite outdoor social spot.

This season there are also coats from Paul Smith, including a sharp navy single breasted overcoat and a textured unlined wool mac and from Circolo, who have translated their signature stretch printed jacket into a longer version.

Over the last the few seasons, wearing multiple layers to create a look has become a global trend in fashion, one that we have had fun experimenting with and have found our own niche within. Rather than being simply that removable layer, used to navigate around the elements, coats are now a key layering piece, just as important as the rest of your outfit. For whichever purpose you want your coat to be for, our range at Mr & Mrs Stitch will ensure you have a piece of luxury, one you will become happily dependant on.

Lightweight, stylish and versatile, are three aspects which our outerwear brands, such as Parajumpers and Colmar, excel in. These two Italian brands continue to adapt their offering each season, dropping the emphasis on being specifically ski-wear, and adding subtle fashionable anecdotes, such as contrasting stitching and appearing softer in their finish, all whilst maintaining their functional compartments and over all technicality.
