The Farrow Short Structured Dress is designed with a feminine silhouette. This stylish dress features long voluminous sleeves with buttoned cuffs. This structured style is crafted in a stretchy fabric and a playful snake and star print. This flowy skirt cut at mid-thigh length features a ruffled bottom hem, slightly fitted was it with a tie-belt, a button-down front with small loop closures and deep v-neck on the front.

The Snakes print represents a graphic approach to classical Egyptian symbols – while the serpent has been simplified, the star is reminiscent of an Egyptian hieroglyphic symbol meaning ‘disciple’, linking back to the story of Aida’s love, Radames. The two symbols blend seamlessly on five black & white monochromatic styles. 

The Pre-Spring 2020 collection draws inspiration from the Italian composer Giuseppe Verdi’s vivid yet tragic opera set in historic Egypt. Goya interpretations of the rich iconography of ancient Egyptian art and culture form the print picture while contrasting colours represent day and night, war and peace and strong silhouettes draping with ease add a modern spin to the collection.
