This British designer is a brand shaped by a deep appreciation of the musical and sporting subcultures that underpin the everyday life of British men. Universal Works takes its cultural and contextual heritage and layers it under a nuanced understanding of contemporary menswear needs. This rib neck sporty looking gilet with two large lower hand pockets and waist adjusters to the back is constructed in Nebraska cotton which has a compact weave with a soft brushed surface, not too dissimilar to moleskin. This allows it to hold its shape well. This style of waistcoat is the perfect example of unstructured tailoring and features a varsity style ribbed collar, two-button & single popper placket with concealed front zip, single patch chest pocket and a straight cut hem.
