Oliver Spencer luxury in linen
Frustrated by the glass ceiling of art school, a young man called Oliver left student hood in favour of a stall in Portobello market. Working hard in the market cemented his love of garment, cloth and shopkeeping. Joining a well known formal wear brand for decade helping them grow, Oliver finally decided it was time create his brand. Oliver Spencer was created in 2002 with goal of crafting something new. A range of clothing with all quality and detailing of premium tailoring, but with a relaxed contemporary style. With one of the moto’s being quality needn’t mean formality, casual needn’t mean careless.
Oliver Spencer Spring/summer collection
The new spring/summer collection understands the needs of its customers. This collections offers an aesthetic full of sophisticated silhouettes for a contemporary wardrobe. Having inspired by the tones and shapes of the late 70s menswear. The collection features an abundance of soft slubby linen fabrics, offering a delightful laid-back textural handle throughout tailoring, trousers, short sleeves shirts and cropped jackets. Stripes are key component, having multiple forms from pinstripes too much more daring like deckchair stripes.

Oliver Spencer has been a staple in our shop for a while and this year we couldn’t believe the brilliance of the collection. Since we can’t list all our pieces, we’ve decided to give you a taste of what to expect by choosing three key garments.
Milford westgate jacket
The first piece is the Milford Westgate jacket. This lightweight jacket is perfect for the summer months being crafted from luxurious linen. It features a subtle summer floral design in beige colour symbolising the beaches of summer pasts. The jacket is complete with a chunky button fastening, two side pockets and buttoned cuffs for a sophisticated summer look.
Riveira shirt
The second option is the Riveira shirt. A terrific choice featuring a cream and blue stripe design signifying the colours of summer. It includes a seersucker material for a textured feel while including a front patch pocket for a classic look. The garment is great for beach days, casual nights outs and everything in between making it a must have for this summer.
Nortfield shirt
The third option is another standout from the collection, the Northfield shirt. Featuring the stripe design with a twist having different size vertical and Horizontal patterns. The shirt also features a camp collar and a button-down fastening. Complete with the contrasting colour scheme of red, grey and green. It’s a must have on your next summer break.
