Emerging out of formalwear, Oliver Spencer’s expansion into the world of casual fashion has saw the designer generate a range of clothing which emphasises the use of premium materials and exquisite tailoring.
Such skilful tailoring is visible in pieces such as the indigo rinse Hawaiian shirt which is fabricated from a lightweight soft cotton to ensure a smart summer look for any occasion. Also featuring this Spring/Summer 19 is the navy Theobald Seersucker jacket which integrates Spencer’s nimble designs with quality fabric and is demonstrable of Spencer‘s ambition to accommodate the fashion tastes of the contemporary male through quality rather than formality. Other seasonal pieces include the navy conduit stripe t-shirt which exudes a smart-modern aesthetic.
Oliver Spencer the brand was created by Oliver Spencer the person.
Having started out on a stall at Portabello Market, Spencer went to create Favourbrook, a men’s formalwear brand.
In 2002 Spencer founded his namesake brand. Although a self taught tailor himself, his intention was to create a premium brand with quality tailoring at its roots. His passion for quality has led the company to seek out factories and workshops which produce the finest yarns and in turn create fabrics which are superior yet functional.
The company has continued to expand and is now recognised as one of the leading British premium menswear brands around.
