Answers to the questions we are asked most about delivery, returns, collection and the Belfast shop. Full details are on our Delivery and Returns pages.
Is Mr & Mrs Stitch a real shop?
Yes. Mr & Mrs Stitch is the online store of Rio Brazil, our designer boutique at UG40, 1 Victoria Square, Belfast BT1 4QG. Both are run by the same family company, Rio Brazil Limited. The shop is open Monday to Saturday 9.30am to 5.30pm and Sunday 1pm to 5.30pm. Hours may change over the holiday season.
How much is UK delivery?
Standard UK delivery is from £5.50 and is free on non-sale orders over £150. Orders placed before 3pm are dispatched the same day, and orders placed at the weekend are dispatched on Monday. Standard delivery normally takes 3 to 5 working days.
Do you deliver to Northern Ireland?
Yes. Northern Ireland is treated the same as the rest of the UK, with no surcharge. We dispatch from Belfast.
Do you offer next day delivery?
Yes. Special Next Day Delivery is from £7.50 and is guaranteed for the next working day on orders placed before 3pm on weekdays (UK mainland). For Saturday delivery, order before 3pm on Friday using the Special Delivery option.
Do you deliver to the Republic of Ireland?
Yes. Delivery to the Republic of Ireland is from £5.15 and takes 2 to 3 days. Orders placed before 10am Monday to Thursday are dispatched the same day. Because we dispatch from Belfast, there are no new tariffs, customs checks or paperwork on orders to the Republic of Ireland or the rest of Europe.
Can I collect my order in Belfast?
Yes. Choose collect in-store at checkout. There is a £2.99 processing fee. Orders placed before 2pm are ready within 3 hours from Rio Brazil, UG40, 1 Victoria Square, Belfast. The person named on the order needs to collect it, with the confirmation email and ID.
What is your returns policy for online orders?
Full price items returned within 14 days can be refunded or exchanged for store credit. Between 15 and 30 days, full price returns are converted to store credit. Sale items must reach us within 14 days. A £6 return label fee applies to UK refunds, and the label is free if you choose store credit on a full price order over £40 within 14 days. Items must be unworn, unwashed and have all tags attached.
Can I return an online order to the Belfast shop?
Yes. Bring the item and your order confirmation to the shop within your return window. Your refund or credit will be processed back to your online payment method within 10 working days. The shop cannot give cash or card refunds at the till for online orders.
What can't be returned?
For hygiene reasons we cannot accept returns of underwear, swimwear, face masks, fragrances or home fragrances unless they arrive faulty. Items returned with marks, fake tan or lingering scents cannot be accepted.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. European and international orders use the fastest available service, from £27.50. Europe usually takes around 5 working days and the rest of the world 5 to 10 working days. Outside the UK and Europe, any import duties and taxes are payable by the customer.
How do I find my size?
