EDWIN is a progressive denim brand that blends their Japanese background, craftsmanship and expertise with a European contemporary flavour, vision and attitude. One of the most revered denim fabrics, Japanese denim is a premium material coloured with indigo dye and are usually handwoven. Crafted from the iconic Japanese Selvedge denim, these jeans have a raw quality and textured appearance; because it was dyed with indigo dye, wearing these jeans with cause them to fade and wear in a unique way. These jeans are a tapered fit and feature a 5-pocket design with silver hardware, belt loops, a buttoned fly, and a branded patch at the back waistband. Wear these jeans with a pair of Paul Smith trainers for some luxury elevation.

How Edwin sizes

Edwin jeans are sized by waist and inside leg in inches, so a W32 is a 32 on the label. There is no Japanese numeric conversion to work out.

Where Edwin differs from Levi's is the cut rather than the number: Japanese market denim is typically drafted with a lower rise and a narrower seat and thigh at the same waist.

Fits

Wide is relaxed with a high rise. Loose is roomy through hips and thighs. Loose Tapered is roomy up top with a gradual taper. Straight Leg is relaxed and even from thigh to hem. Regular Straight is balanced through the waist and hips into a straight leg. Regular Tapered narrows to the hem. Slim Tapered is close and streamlined. Skinny is the narrowest.
