The Amelie Dress in Swans Black print is characterized by small loop and button closures appearing all the way down the front of the dress. It features a loose and relaxed silhouette, long slightly voluminous sleeves with buttoned cuffs, a tie-belt at waist with matching belt loops and a v-neck. Cut at mid-calf length. 

With reference to Capote’s inner circle of stylish female friends called his ‘Swans’, The Swans Black print depicts elegant swans gliding on water. The print comes in two colourways and is created as a mix of pen drawings and collage effects representing the interesting mix of characters within the Swan group. Hues of peach & light pink combined with white decorate the swans swimming in a black sea. Created as an all-over print on soft viscose. 

The Autumn Winter 2019 collection ‘A Truman Melody’ delves into the world of the famous writer Truman Capote – his style, his ‘Swans’ – a coterie of extraordinary female friends and his legendary Black & White Ball. Inspired by the eclectic and varied style of the individual Swans, this collection consists of extravagant evening wear alongside everyday silhouettes in prints and colours reflecting the 1950s, 60s and 70s New York.
