Psycho Bunny was founded in New York in 2005 by Robert Godley and Robert Goldman. Godley previously as the ex-creative director for Ralph Lauren, while Goldman grew up in a family business which produced luxury neckties. These two creatives took inspiration from historical images including the famous “skull and crossbones” design, Goldman drew up a sketch combining these inspirations with the bunny image. After a customer remarked that the image looked like a “Psycho Bunny”, the name stuck!
