Women's Loafers

Originally a man’s formal shoe, loafers can now also be worn by women and children.  Loafers are a shoe that can easily be slipped on without the hassle of lacing or fastenings and are often made with a low heel or no heel. They can be worn as a casual or more formal shoe and like the ankle boot can come in a variety of designs made with various leathers, suede or patent material, faux snake print to faux croc and various animal prints, the loafer has evolved since it was introduced in 1847 when this style of shoe was first introduced. We now have several different styles of loafer from the penny loafer, tassled, kilted, the Belgian and the Gucci. Due to the incredible choice of colour and designs, women have now the option of wearing loafers with all styles of outfits from shorts to trousers, skirts to dresses.
